Ushers are Tri-State Community Orchestra ambassadors and play a large part in the success of performances and the overall concert experience for our patrons. Open to anyone interested in supporting the Orchestra and providing exemplary customer service.
Ushering Duties Include:
• Taking tickets
• Handing out programs
• Directing patrons to their seats
• Answering questions
PLUS Ushers also have the opportunity to hear TCO concerts while volunteering!

Board Member or Committee Member
If you have an interest in getting more involved in the behind the scenes process of running the orchestra and planning concerts, we have opportunities available for you to volunteer as a member of our Board of Directors or serve on a Committee.
BOARD MEMBER JOB REQUIREMENTS
Have a clear understanding of and an active interest in achieving the TCO's goals
Exhibit a willingness to positively represent the TCO to the community
Regularly prepare for and attend board and committee meetings
Review agenda and supporting materials prior to meetings and actively participate in the board's deliberations
Respect and honor the confidentiality of the discussions and information obtained through Board member status
Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to ensure that adequate funds are raised to support the TCO's goals and programs
Support the TCO by providing expertise to further the goals of the orchestra and personal time and energy to work on specific TCO projects
COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP: Serve actively as your time allows when committees are formed for special projects. The committee will be disbanded when the project is complete
